Omoniyi Olatunde Samson (born 3 April, 1997) known by his stage name Olaboi,[1] is a Nigerian musician, singer, songwriter, actor and television personality who became active in 2012.

In 2017, Olaboi aas nominated for the best Afro pop single with one of his single keregbe by the Topnaija music award,[2], he eventually won the award in January 2018.[3]

He has officially dropped 6 singles to his name (Dont let go,Tonight, Say yes, Keregbe, Light it up and Formula).

Early life and education[edit]

Olaboi was born on 3 April, 1997, in Ilorin, Kwara State Nigeria, he went to Armti staff school for his primary education and C&S college for his secondary education. He is currently studying Chemistry in University of Lagos.

Music career[edit]

Olaboi has been confirmed by many to be a very talented artist with a promising future while he keeps on working hard to achieve his desired goals and taking the Nigerian music to the next level, he has so far has seven singles to his name.

Don't Let Go''[4]

This song was written and produced to address the rift that happened in the P square group and other music groups that had issues in the past. Keregbe is an afro pop [[[music]] dwells around the African love lifestyle produced by Skelly. This song was released on Sunday, April 30, 2017 and got the Top Naija best Afro pop music in 2017.[11]

Light it up was officially released on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 as a theme song for Top Naija Music Awards 2017 produced by Skelly.[13]

Formula is a love song basically to encourage plus size ladies to be confident and to tell them how beautiful the are.
