Hi! I wanted to give you a bit of feedback on your draft.

I did some editing for tone, as there are some portions of this that read as a little non-neutral. For example "where his manufacturing operations set industry standards for quality, delivery, cost and service as it became the fastest-growing, most profitable computer company in the world" came across as promotional and non-neutral. While this wasn't intentional, it's something that you have to be very careful about.

Also be careful of sourcing. There are a lot of primary sources in the article and while you can still use primary sources to back up basic information, they should be used sparingly. The reasons for this are ones of notability and verifiability. Notability cannot be established with a primary source regardless of the claims, as we need to be able to show where the claims are notable by way of secondary coverage. There's also the issue of verification, as we can't always guarantee that the claims are legit. For example, they could have either inflated the claims to be more major than they were or they could have been made up entirely. It's unfortunate to say, but it's happened on more than one occasion on here. Avoid sourcing in places like Genealogy.com, as we can't really verify the person who created the source (as anyone can sign up) and it's also primary.

Finally, be careful of what is added. For example, it's generally unnecessary to go into a lot of depth about a person's family unless there's a lot of non-primary coverage about them. For the most part biographies will just list how many children someone has, rather than all of their names and the names of the grandchildren and so on. Part of the reason for this is verification, as most sources won't cover a person's family in depth unless they're hugely major figures or they're covering a family in general (ie, like Bill & Melinda Gates's family or a historical family).

Now that aside, this does appear to be a notable person - the article just needs more independent coverage and a little tweaking, so good job on finding someone who wasn't already on Wikipedia! Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 00:12, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Wafflesandpancakes. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, such as the edit you made to Eddie Newquist, and that you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements.
