Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from World Cricket League into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Compassionate727 (T·C) 14:18, 26 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Marshyg. I noticed that you recently created a film article. I just wanted to let you know that there are several templates that can be used for external links to IMdb: see WP:IMDBTEMPLATE. These are better than using the linking method you tried, for reasons mentioned at WT:WikiProject Film/Archive 79#Masking imdb links as wikilinks. I've made the change. Regards. Orphaned non-free image File:ICC World Cup Trophy.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:ICC World Cup Trophy.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:30, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable non-free use File:T20 World Cup.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:T20 World Cup.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

April 2024[edit]

Hi, your edits on the page Chennai Super Kings is non-constructive and have been reverted.

  1. Statistics need to be limited and rather conformed to a single section. Do not split the sections and spread it across the page in the name of being "ugly", which is not a valid reason.
  2. As per WP:STATS, there is too much statistics here, simple quoting of honors should do in MO. Home ground stats are unwarranted; so do not cramp numbers
  3. Do not add repetitions of the same which has already been mentioned in the article as you did with the wins. The same has again been repeated in the table.
  4. Do not make unnecessary mark-up or bold

The article is under a GA nomination and changes have been made to conform to similar GA/FA articles. Do have a look at other GA/FA sports related articles such as for your reference. So unless you have anything constructive to contribute, do not make changes or restore old versions without consensus. Thanks! Magentic Manifestations (talk) 12:11, 14 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

June 2024[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Charliehdb. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Also see WP:INDEPENDENT. Charliehdb (talk) 10:26, 29 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Marshyg! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of an article several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 14:41, 29 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

June 2024[edit]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your contributions to article List of highest-grossing Telugu films did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Sacnilk source or any news media using Sacnilk source and the claims made by the film's own production company are unreliable. Source needs to be secondary independent. Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for edit warring.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ~ ToBeFree (talk) 20:32, 30 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock[edit]

This user is asking that their block be reviewed:

Request reason:

I understand that I was blocked for edit warring. I take full responsibility for my actions and apologize for disrupting the collaborative editing process on Wikipedia.

Here's why I believe I should be unblocked.
1. I recognize that repeatedly reverting edits without finding consensus is detrimental to Wikipedia's neutrality and accuracy.
2. I am committed to following Wikipedia's editing guidelines and resolving future disagreements through discussion on the talk page.
3.I am committed to following Wikipedia's editing guidelines and resolving future disagreements through discussion on the talk page.

Do you understand that edit summaries like this that contain personal attacks are unacceptable? How will you resolve a dispute if talk page discussion fails to resolve it? Do you understand that Wikipedia mainly summarizes independent reliable sources and not usually primary sources? 331dot (talk) 07:39, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ok. I understand that you all are corrupt. You all are part of hakla pr and you can't digest other's success. Claiming website like pinkvilla is reliable is ridiculous lol. You guys are so damn scared of a one man that you downplay official collection of his movie to satisfy your ego. your work rate is unbelievable. I have no respect left for wikipedia and i'm not trusting wiki anymore. So either unblock my account or delete it. Thats it.
