Spelling[edit]

Hello. I noticed you have been correcting a few spellings, which is great, but do try not to make unnecessary changes from International English to American English since this is an international collaboration. More Info here. Thanks. -- zzuuzz (talk) 00:55, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Promotional links[edit]

Please stop creating internal links to the article. It does very little to improve those articles and appears to be promotional. Simply add his article to an appropriate 'investor' category. Kuru talk 18:32, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summary[edit]

When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Edit summary text box

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. Daniel Šebesta (talkcontribs) 03:12, 12 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Making spelling changes and national varieties of English[edit]

In several articles you have changed the British English spelling of words like signalled or travelled to the American English spellings signaled and traveled. Please read the section National varieties of English of the Wikipedia Manual of Style. Such changes are rarely appropriate; they should be made only if there is a strong association of the "locality" of the article topic with that of the spelling variety (see also Wikipedia:Manual of Style (national varieties of English)), or for the sake of spelling consistency within the article.  --LambiamTalk 13:43, 12 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
