Naane Varuven[edit]

Hey could you also expand the article for the Dhanush starrier Tamil film Naane Varuven? Theoder2055 (talk) 17:24, 15 May 2022 (UTC)

@Kailash29792: I think so we don’t need to expand the article too much. But I don’t why do we need to expand this article too much. Some IP editor is adding so much of extra information but only the necessary information needs to be added right?

No such rule. If you feel the article is becoming too big, separate articles can be created.

South Indian[edit]

Do you think it is worthwhile to have separate article for South Indian films? See List of highest-grossing South Indian films of 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. DareshMohan (talk) 01:37, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure. This is better discussed at WP:INCINE. --Kailash29792 (talk) 01:41, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

IABot (v2.0.9.5)[edit]

Editors who activate BOTS or any automated tool should always check the results to ensure that they are accurate, as they are often not. In this edit seen here, IABot added an archive-url to www.independent.co.uk to a citation that is actually www.thefutoncritic.com. In the future, if you use this BOT, please check the results of IABot to ensure accuracy in citations. Thanks. Isaidnoway (talk) 21:15, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Error[edit]

Raneesh is called by Vijay as Senthil here and before that, a Punjabi man shrieks his name Raneesh here. Even before that, his name tag is slightly shown that his name is ending in --neesh here (rightmost side). If his nametag says Raneesh, that is a major error by the makers.DareshMohan (talk) 00:49, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Update: in the song Vijay calls a man maapillai, and the nametag shows that the name starts with R. [1]. I'm formatted it similar to Robo Shankar in Singapore Saloon where the common name listed first/actual name. DareshMohan (talk) 00:57, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure about the accuracy of the cast section. If someone made a second appearance in the second film's trailer, I don't think they are guaranteed to come in the third film. Maybe they have to come if Indian thatha takes revenge on them, but I'm not sure. DareshMohan (talk) 06:29, 27 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You're right. Please keep only those confirmed for I3 such as Kajal Aggarwal. Kailash29792 (talk) 06:49, 27 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Filmography[edit]

Television films directly released on television channels shouldn't be included in Films section but direct OTT releases should be (not in separate section called Television)? DareshMohan (talk) 01:51, 28 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If they are feature films (regardless of whether direct-to-video or streaming) they should be listed in films section only. I guess television films are listed under Television section since such films are normally made in TV style and within that budget; basically just elongated TV episodes. Tughlaq Durbar is a complex case, but I decided to leave it for the authorities to decide. Kailash29792 (talk) 01:59, 28 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
