Proposed deletion of Laurier McDonald[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Laurier McDonald, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

No assertion is made that the subject meets the notability standard set by WP:PEOPLE.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. AfD nomination of Laurier McDonald[edit]

I have nominated Laurier McDonald, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Laurier McDonald. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Jim Ward (talk·stalk) 06:18, 4 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Albert Kuner, William Jacob Covington[edit]

Hi again. Seeing that you are their creator and primary author, would you consider updating the Albert Kuner and William Jacob Covington articles to establish notability that satisfies the requirements for biographies? I don't see any claim of it for either of these subjects; rather, they appear to be more homage pieces. Please note that Wikipedia requires that notability be established by reliable secondary sources. Leave a note below if you'd like to talk about this. Thanks & regards, Jim Ward (talk·stalk) 21:54, 4 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The file File:Laurier.bernard.mcdonald.199X.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 29 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
