Plot summaries[edit]

Greetings and welcome to Wikipedia. I understand you've been having some issues understanding how the plot summaries for films work in Wiki. It's simple. WP:FILMPLOT states "Plot summaries for feature films should be between 400 and 700 words." It's unnecessary to include details for the plot summaries. Instead, just write a brief, condensed summary, only include important plots points. I recommend reading some plot summaries from other film pages to get the idea and inspiration, like Avengers: Endgame or King Kong (2005 film). The plot for those 3-hours films were forced to be summed up in 700 words. You can maybe get away with 710, 740, or even 800 words but I find it best to keep the summary under 700 so that the edit won't be challenged. Armegon (talk) 18:15, 7 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
