Hello, I'm Jinyu Yang (IPA: [tɕin˨˩ y˧˥ jɑŋ˧˥]) as it is pronounced in Standard Mandarin. And my username, Zhiqian Yang (IPA: [ʈʂɹ̩˥ tɕʰjɛn˥˥ jɑŋ˧˥]), is my courtesy name. I am a physics student interested in math, languages, philosophy, soccer, and rock music. I'm currently studying quantum mechanics and am interested in group theory underlying gauge theory.
Etymology[edit]
Jinyu, a Sinitic origin name, literally means (to possess) gemstones and pearls, symbolically meaning being exceptional and humble. Meanwhile, Zhiqian straightly means one who is humble.
