Philip Kiriakis is a fictional character Days of Our Lives, an American soap opera on the NBC network. Created by head writer James E. Reilly, and introduced by executive producers Ken Corday and Tom Langan, the character was portrayed by several child actors until October 1999, when the character was rapidly aged with actors Brandon Tyler, and, again in December 1999 with Jay Kenneth Johnson. Johnson remained with the soap until his departure in December 2002. The role was recast with Kyle Brandt in 2003, until his exit in 2006. Johnson returned to the role in January 2007, departing again in April 2011. In December 2015, actor John-Paul Lavoisier stepped into the role for the soap's fiftieth anniversary celebration; he exited by the end of 2016. In 2019, Johnson reprised the role on the digital series Last Blast Reunion; he will again reprise the role in 2020 on Days of Our Lives when Philip returns to Salem.
