Johnny Carter is a fictional character on the BBC soap opera EastEnders. A member of the Carter family, Johnny was introduced in December 2013, originally portrayed by Sam Strike. Strike departed the following year. In 2016, Johnny was introduced for a second time recast with Ted Reilly, who remained in the role until 2018. In December 2023, Chris Clenshaw announced the role would return in 2024, with Charlie Suff cast in the role.
