Asher Jade is a Jeefry citizen and past leader of the National People’s of Jeefry. She was the first female to be elected with the title of Eef, or emperor Jeefry. In addition, her efforts to help people in poverty receive education has earned her multiple honorary doctorates as international accolades.
Early Life and Life Prior to Election[edit]
Asher was born on July 7, 1961, in Fe, Jeefry, as the daughter of Aaron Jade and Michelle Hart. Her younger brother, Jay, was born five years after she was, on August 9, 1966. Both her parents were soldiers, who had met at Fe One Training Camp during their period of soldier preparation. As a child, Jade did not receive the utmost level of education that the majority of Jeefry citizens received since her parents, as soldiers who received subaverage incomes, were not able to afford the school tuition. Nonetheless, with the aid of scholarships Jade was able to earn, she attended the University of the Jeefy. This university was known for its ability to produce students who become Jeefs and Eefs after graduation. When in UJeefy, Jade earned a major in educational knowledge in addition to a major in political science. With the completion of the previous mentioned courses, Jade was qualified to take, and did take, the Jeef Exam (JE). At the age of 26, she became the youngest female to score a perfect score on the JE and was selected to be a Jeef. After serving for four years, Jade resigned in order to focus on her goal of becoming Eef. In 1991, Jade returned to UJeefy to earn a doctorate in political science. Upon graduation, she immediately decided to join the Eef Race and on January 5, 1992, Jade was elected to be the first female Eef of Jeefry.
Career[edit]
As Eef, Jade was much more cooperative with the Jeefs compared to her predecessors. As a result, under her leadership, Jeefry grew to become a world superpower. Even more, Jade was highly influential in the formation of the Mutual Sand and Iron Trade Pact. Throughout her time as Eef, she worked on building the Global Jade Initiative (GJI), a partnership with various global leaders where providing those living in poverty with education is the main objective. GJI expanded with the help of Jade’s worldwide presence as the Eef of world superpower, Jeefry. However, Jade faced issues as some Jeefry citizens would not accept a female leader. At times, revolts and riots were organized in order to force her to abdicate but Jade’s response was always an urge for peace. In 2000, after eight years of rule, Jade’s term as Eef ended, but her work for GJI continued.
Personal Life[edit]
When Jade returned to UJeefy in 1991, she met her future husband, Josle Stait, a student in political science as well, while studying in the library. Two two were in a relationship throughout their years in earning a doctorate, and Stait continued his work as a Jeef until the two married in 1994. Upon marriage, Stait lived with Jade in the city of Eef, working as an additional advisor. After Jade’s term as Eef ended, she traveled the world, visiting the places where GJI had made an impact. Just recently, in April 2018, she visited Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with Stait to monitor the progress of six schools built by GJI that had provided education for 5,600 people.
Awards[edit]
For her work in providing education, Jade has received various honorary doctorates from: Cambridge University, Harvard University, the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Oxford. In addition, she was named a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador and was listed in Time’s Top 100 Influencers in 2002.
