Position of labels and parameters[edit]

How to control it? Want to move website URL up out of "Related articles" to below "Headquarters" label. Quercus solaris (talk) 00:58, 14 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request[edit]

There is a request posted at WT:MILHIST to add an "anniversaries" parameter to this infobox, similar to the one in the {{Infobox military unit}}. Thanks - theWOLFchild 04:31, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Adding the most senior enlisted NCOs to the template[edit]

I think that the most senior enlisted NCOs should be added to the template. This is currently being done at United States Armed Forces and British Armed Forces, probably amongst others. Pinging the latest editors of this page for thoughts. (Disclaimer, I am new to editing templates and proposing edits.) @Zackmann08 @Skjoldbro @Beland @Melbguy05 @嘉傑. @Dawkin Verbier: Those two articles embed a child infobox into {{Infobox national military}} in the header Leadership enabling custom labels such as "Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff" or "Vice-Chief of the Defence Staff". There would be numerous titles used by national militaries. I think continuing to use a child infobox is the easiest way to include extra Leadership ranks (labels) into the infobox. Other editors may have a different view. You can start a discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Military history for their thoughts on adding more custom parameters to the Leadership header. I also agree with adding the most senior 'other ranks'. Another example is the 'Armed Forces Sergeant Major' of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.[1] This is an appointment for the entire military of Brunei, and is separate to their Navy Sergeant Major, Air Force Sergeant Major, and Army Sergeant Major.
Respectfully to the requester, Dawkin Verbier, based on the issue that most post-holders will be a senior warrant officer, and some militiaries do not group or 'class' WO as an NCO, can I suggest the title for the field be most-senior_other-ranks_title, with the actual field being most-senior_other-ranks. Requesting edit[edit]

Would it be possible to change "Percent of GDP" to "% of GDP"? Percent is primarily US English, % would remove any WP:ENGVAR issues. Stolitz (talk) 02:32, 16 August 2023 (UTC) Ban-evasion by WP:Sockpuppet investigations/TheCurrencyGuy 184.152.68.190 (talk) 03:18, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 11 June 2024[edit]

Please unlock this page for me, I want to add label Deputy Chief Minister, because the prime minister of Vietnam (Phạm Minh Chính) holds the position of Deputy Chief Minister, he is also the supreme commander of the Vietnam People's Armed Forces, besides General Secretary Nguyễn Phú Trọng anh President Tô Lâm. 27.3.1.181 (talk) 01:30, 11 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: this is not the right page to request additional user rights. You may reopen this request with the specific changes to be made and someone may add them for you, or if you have an account, you can wait until you are autoconfirmed and edit the page yourself. Also, this is the page for the infobox template. To change the infobox on a particular article, it must be edited directly on that page. Happy Editing--IAmChaos 02:26, 11 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
