Inclusion criteria for lists[edit]
Some kind of inclusion criteria needs to be established for the lists of faculty and alumni per WP:CSC and WP:Source list. The easiest is to simply limit the list to persons who have stand-alone Wikipedia articles or who would otherwise be considered notable enough for a stand-alone article. Wikipedia articles are not intended to be directories of faculty/almuni so only those who have received significant coverage is reliable sources should be mentioned. There is also no need to list every award/fellowship etc. they received or where they are currently teaching/working. Only the really major ones (Noble Prizes, etc.) should be mentioned and the rest should be added to their individual articles. -- Marchjuly (talk) 02:34, 4 December 2015 (UTC)
