great page, the only thing im wondering about is what are the laws/ rules about sex censorship out side of the U.S. and how do they handle this situation —Preceding unsigned comment added by Monadixon17 (talkcontribs) 14:59, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Y'all did a good job, I can't even think of anything to recommend that needs work. Nice work!--Ewspfld3 (talk) 00:45, 1 April 2009 (UTC)ewspfld3[reply]

Did you find anything about other countries and there laws regarding censorship?Ac7958 (talk) 14:39, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I know in many strip clubs, there is a rule that the dancers cannot bare all. In 18+ clubs, most of the time dancers must not be completly nude. Where as in 21+ clubs, they may allow it(Bsteph (talk) 14:51, 31 March 2009 (UTC)).[reply]

I think you guys did a good job :). To make it better, maybe consider expanding the introduction. Most wikipedia pages have an introduction with the basics on a topic. Also, it seems like you have listed a lot of things- maybe try making it flow together or shortening it to make it look more like a list? Just an idea! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lhomol (talkcontribs) 01:27, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Very interesting article. I didn't know that sexual censorship dated back so far in history or that it was such a major issue. I honestly can't think of anything to add to this page, but someone above did say something about including information on countries outside the US, which seems like a very good idea. But overall, I think you guys did a good job Minimedic21 (talk) 21:58, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This page looks good. I've read a lot of new and useful information. A suggestion I have is to use a few more sources. I have been noticing some problems on my page by only having five. It may be beneficial in the long run to have a few more and increase the validity of your page. (ChelseasexEd (talk) 01:23, 6 April 2009 (UTC))[reply]

You mentioned how one of the laws changes as society changes. I'm not sure if there is any answer to my question by how can it be determined how society as a whole has evolved? There are many different kinds of people in our country, some are conservative and some are very liberal so how does one group of people decide what is acceptable and what is not if people in society change at different paces? Just a thought.--Rhultgren (talk) 18:13, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

great page, maybe some more statistics and like someone else said, expanding the intro to make sure that the readers know exactly what areas of sex censorship you're covering. good job! Dorothycastillo (talk) 04:25, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Great article with lot's of information! Maybe you could add some of the child pornography laws? Sslota (talk) 16:12, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I like how you gave the history of how censorship laws came about. I think that this topic has been a big debate in the past and still today is a huge debate between media personell and government. The only suggestion that i have is that media's views and government views could be compared and contrasted briefly on the page. This would just show that their are issues concerning the topic of censorship and would inform the public about the underlying issues of censorship. This page looks great. I didn't realize how much information would be possible for this topic. I am wondering however if there is a link between the our society's sexual interpretations and the way censorship is handled by our government. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.246.3.2 (talk) 18:24, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
