Div[edit]

I cannot see what this article has to do with the Sami Parliament. 20:57, 7 Jun 2005 (UTC)

This article had 'norway-stub', but the parliament isn't only about Norway.

Skolt Sami name[edit]

The skolt sami name seems to be broken and should be fixed.Labongo 13:32, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, but what's wrong with it? It shows up fine here. -Yupik 09:09, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Seems fine to me also today. Was probably just a browser/font issue.Labongo 10:26, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Split article[edit]

I propose splitting the article into three parts (Norway, Finland and Sweden). I don't see any reason for having a single article as these are three separate parliaments. Any objections?Labongo 10:57, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't have any objections to it. I started writing them all in the same article since there was only one article about the "Sami Parliament". It would probably be though a good idea to have a more general article about all the parliaments with links to the more specific parliament articles. -Yupik 19:14, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
OK. I have split out the Norwegian parliament article. The other two will follow once they have been extended. Perhaps the general article could be under Sami government and be about the old siida system the Sami paliaments, and the Sami Nordic council?Labongo 09:24, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Proposal:
1) Move whole article to Sámi politics.
2) Five equal sections: Sámi pre-parliamentarian political history; Sámi parliaments as
of today; Sámi presidents; Other Sámi political entities (ministries, etc).
If there's no negative reactions to this idea within a week, I'll do it.

Aili Keskitalo[edit]

Aili keskitalo is no longer the the president for sami parlament in Norway

Thanks for correcting this article also. I hope you will continue contributing to these articles, and other articles about the Sami people. If you are interested here is a list of things to do for the Sami articles: User:Yupik/To_Do. I would also encourage you to create a user account. Thank you, best regards Labongo 09:21, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
