Unfortunately, there are no reliable sources regarding this information. Blogs are not reliable sources, and his own corporation still lists him as president. Until a reliable source can confirm this information the page should remain unchanged. Akerans (talk) 19:59, 7 May 2010 (UTC)

You're right about the video, but by definition memorial doesn't necessarily mean deceased. If, however, the video is by a reputable source and mentions his passing during the video, then I don't see why it can't be used as a source. If you wish to update the page using the video, then by all means. Please be sure to include a time index as to when the statement is made, and who produced the video.

Again, the company website states he is president which create doubt about the blog. A reliable third party source would clear up any doubt. Akerans (talk) 15:44, 9 May 2010 (UTC)

To further the discussion, has anyone published an obituary? The magazines where his work appears, has any one of them written a piece on his passing? Either one, or both, of those would work as a reliable source. Akerans (talk) 22:11, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

The reason you are encountering resistance is because for several editors - myself included - it is not at all obvious that "the guy died". Your ancestry.com link, for example, lists multiple "Peter"s, even a "Peter Muia", but no "Peter Mui" (unless you want us to trawl through each page...?)

Another reason is your insistence on assuming the worst. Here and elsewhere several editors have tried to help you to help us. I'm still willing to help you to help us. However, tell another editor to "stop being a fucking prick" again, or use similar language, and I for one will cheerfully walk away, content in the knowledge that I tried.

Checked for sources and couldn't find any, otherwise I would have edited the page myself. This is nothing personal against you, or Peter Mui. But, information of this magnitude would have been published somewhere. A newspaper in his home town?
