USS Tickler[edit]

A banned wikipedia editor created an article that mentioned USS Tickler was scuttled on December 14, 1814. There are no primary or secondary sources that confirm this. There is an online source that states the vessel was sold in 1818 in New Orleans! The vessel gets no mention whatsoever in Roosevelt's history, and you would expect a scuttling to be worthy of mention.Keith H99 (talk) 17:04, 18 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Oh dear, I see that he created this article too, making sure to never provide citations. Keith H99 (talk) 17:27, 18 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Over a dozen vessels[edit]

If there are over a dozen vessels, can a reliable secondary source be located, which documents this and lists each vessel, so that a definitive number can be counted. It would appear that "the internet says" there are over a dozen, but it has no reliable source as the bedrock of such information. Keith H99 (talk) 10:03, 19 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

New Orleans Station of the US Navy[edit]

The person that created this article, who has since been banned, created an article about a battle that never existed. I am not so sure there was a "New Orleans Squadron", and that the article should instead cover the "New Orleans Station" which is frequently mentioned in primary and secondary sources.
