Not much information available[edit]

I spent some time trying to find some information about Maitland in Huron County and all I can come up with – and this is pure supposition – is that Maitland is an area on the outskirts of Goderich near the Maitland Cemetery on Highway 8 (Huron Road). Incidentally, The Huron Road is marked on some old maps as the "Maitland Concession". Whether the area is named after the cemetery, or vice versa, I couldn't determine.
