Relation to LSA page?[edit]

This page is nice, but it seems to overlap a lot with the Latent semantic analysis page. Are they not exactly the same thing? gromgull (talk) 17:45, 23 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

They are indeed the same thing. I don't understand why there are two distinct articles on Wikipedia; a redirect would IMO be more appropriate. 112.142.187.165 (talk) 07:45, 30 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think LSI should just redirect to the LSA page... I believe the LSA page is more complete. 99.92.159.184 (talk) 01:34, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oh that's nice, because I just read the LSI article ... :-/ So yeah, +1 for merge. 94.212.55.210 (talk) 19:20, 18 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

LSA and LSI are conceptually different in that LSA is primarily concerned with the left singular vectors and calculating text similarity. LSI was instead more focused on the right singular vectors and document retrieval. However I agree that merging the pages is ideal. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.66.17.209 (talk) 22:10, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed error, please help with formatting[edit]

I fixed a (big) error in the math, but somehow, I could not get the math to parse. Even though I know TeX / LaTeX! Can someone more expert than me fix it? Thanks! Lucadealfaro (talk) 01:40, 27 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
