Fair use rationale for Image:LaLunatica.jpg[edit]

Image:LaLunatica.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Albinism fact check[edit]

The article currently contains the following statement:

"She has completely white skin and hair, and elongated canine teeth, making her appear much like a muscular albino vampire."

However she is currently included in the fictional characters with albinism category, and "completely white hair and skin" links to albinism. Has she been established to be albinistic? If so, shouldn't it be explicitly mentioned? If not, why is she in that category, and shouldn't "albino" link to albinism instead of "completely white skin and hair"? -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 09:28, 28 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't read the 2099 books for several years, but I'm fairly sure she was specifically stated to be an albino. The Other Wiki also thinks so. Argento Surfer (talk) 18:57, 25 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've been following this series for quite a few years, and have recently reread it. She is never stated to be albinistic. Her appearance is generally portrayed to the reader as part of her mutation. To say she has albinism is less likely, given the track record of Marvel mutants having altered features due to their mutations, which would be a seperate genetic condition entirely. Essentiall "all albinos have white skin but not all those with white skin are albinos". From the lack of support within the printed medium and the tendencies of the Marvel imprint, it is safer to conclude this is mutation based.
