Interesting album, on good sources, no copyvio obvious. The hook is fine, but has too many numbers for my taste. I don't need the "1980s" at the beginning, and by 29 years (or three decades) or whatever, that is even redundant altogether. I'd begin with the attractive title, say what it is, then how much later than the first. Unless you want to focus on the elapsed time, but then bring that to the front. - In the article, I read many historic things but somehow don't hear the music until Reception comes in. May be just me. - Other music, pleasant: some days ago FS said he often uses a red link, I created that, made a hook, and read a better hook in yesterday's paper! This project can be so great!   Thank you, all (I also forgot). Better, but still too many figures, I figure, and the question mark at the end of the title doesn't make it easier, nor the "The" at the beginning of the band's name. Could you live with one of these?

  The name of the band was changed from "The Dream ..." to "the Dream". I believe that is a misunderstanding of the guideline. I understand that we don't want constructions such as "the The Dream ...", but here, there would be no "the" in the sentence at that point, - better to mark "The" as part of the name by a capital letter. The lower case is still (as changed) in the hooks not to be used. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:27, 18 March 2021 (UTC)

  Gerda Arendt, I'm not going to argue with Binksternet, who knows this stuff pretty well; I've been pointed to a set of discussions and MOS bits years ago, which essentially argues that when we talk about the Beatlers we should have the "t" in lowercase...   Exactly, when we talk about them, it should be lower case, such as "The album was released by the Dream Syndicate in 2017." But in the infobox, it's the plain name, and the plain name begins with a capital "The". Same in this hook, no "the" in the sentence. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:21, 18 March 2021 (UTC)

  No, it's about whether it's in a sentence or not. I see it's capitalized in the infobox, and if that needs to be changed too, so be it...it's lowercase in Let It Be (Beatles album). Drmies (talk) 16:24, 18 March 2021 (UTC)

  there, it says "by the Beatles", big difference. "by Beatles" would be nonsense, we nee "the" for the grammar. If that was my article, I'd say "by the Beatles. Similarly, I'd be willing - on top of the approved Alt3 - to go with "rockband Dream Syndicate" but for "rockband the Dream Syndicate, you'll need a different reviewer ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:52, 18 March 2021 (UTC)

  Hook ALT3 must be restored to lower case 'the' per MOS:THEMUSIC. Band names in running prose are written that way, with a lower case the. Same with stage names such as the Weeknd, per MOS:NICKNAMETHE. We had a gigantic RfC about it eight years ago at Wikipedia talk:Requests for mediation/The Beatles. • SL93 are you serious? I don't see that for other albums; Thriller (album) doesn't have that for the tracks, and it's an FA, and for the extensive personnel it just cites the liner notes. But OK, I'll do that too. Drmies (talk) 21:16, 18 March 2021 (UTC)

• Drmies I'm totally serious. DYK rules state that all sections need to be referenced. I have been forced to cite cast lists for DYK film articles even though I know that GAs don't require them. You can bring it up on the DYK talk page if you want, but I'm not on Wikipedia to make jokes. SL93 (talk) 21:43, 18 March 2021 (UTC)
