Place of birth?[edit]

https://www.encyclopedia.com/women/encyclopedias-almanacs-transcripts-and-maps/braun-e-lucy-1889-1971 locates ELB's birthplace as Mount Washington, Ohio, a neighborhood of Cincinnati. However, it seems that Mount Washington was a distinct community until its annexation in 1911, which is after ELB's birth. What's the best way to identify her birthplace?

PhD order[edit]

ELB's page lists her as receiving the 6th woman phd from UC, her sister being the first. Annette's page (correctly) lists Lucy as the second. We contacted UC to confirm, and ELB was the second according to UC alumni archives. "Library. I went through our commencement programs from 1911-1914, the Braun sisters' years, and found no other women named for receiving a PhD. There were 5 or 6 women listed as receiving Doctor of Medicine degrees, which could explain accidentally listing Emma as the sixth.
