U of I hierarchy[edit]

What is the relationship between the College of Medicine at Urbana-Champaign and the organizations the University of Illinois College of Medicine, University of Illinois at Chicago, and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign? It appears that both Chicago and Urbana claim it, and its own web page have both UIC and UIUC logos. Who does the CoM at Urbana answer to for what? What's the chain of responsibility between the U of I Trustees and the CoM at Urbana? --Closeapple (talk) 04:52, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Offically it's UIC College of Medicine at Urbana-Champaign. It appears the COM is offically administered through Chicago, but many faculty have cross appointments with UIUC. Makes sense as most students there are in duel degree program. Ace-o-aces (talk) 20:33, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Merge[edit]

I think this page should be merged with University of Illinois College of Medicine. Officially it is a campus of the UIC-COM. Ace-o-aces (talk) 20:37, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This page is redundant. It now just redirects to the main UIC-COM page. Ace-o-aces (talk) 22:25, 13 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
