This is a work in progress. Everybody needs correct information...so I'am not rushing.

I (not admin) removed the speedy tag/hangon tags, and put the underconstruction tag. This should give you a day or two to fix the article, establish notability and put in the content. Remove tag after that. if the article then doesn't meet policy, I would suspect that it will go to AFD, but not speedy, considering the subject matter. PLEASE NOTE[edit]

You may want to read the policies here a bit. You can't 'gather info from people and dept' or the like, as that violates WP:OR policy on original research (that makes you a reporter, and Wikipedia isn't a newspaper). I am trying to help you get the article as close to valid as possible, but unless I can find something that makes it 'notable', someone may likely boot it over to AFD (Articles For Deletion). Wikipedia is very open, but the policies on what can be included and how you can add content are pretty narrow, for good reason, as this is an encyclopedia and not a blog or news site. Pharmboy (talk) 18:54, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That is all I can find. All I can do now is help with formatting, etc. Still not sure it will meet policy. Pharmboy (talk) 19:05, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notes moved from mainspace article[edit]

The following notes were in the main article, rather than delete them completely I thought it would be better to move them to talk. nancy (talk) 16:22, 8 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

All Information and Photos taken by: Weatherman Tyler (talk) 19:20, 5 January 2008 (UTC) This page was created by Weatherman Tyler (talk) 17:15, 6 January 2008 (UTC) and all photos were taken by Weatherman Tyler (talk) 17:15, 6 January 2008 (UTC) during the summer of 2007 as a special project of mine to the City of Bristol and its people. Also, all of the apparatus specifics were gathered through interviews with city firemen and Weatherman Tyler (talk) 17:15, 6 January 2008 (UTC).[reply]

I added the simple category so it would have something. Article is still too heavy original research and not sure about notability for fire depts. Pharmboy (talk) 20:33, 8 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Questionable" reserve engine[edit]

I have major concerns about the references to the "questionable" engine. They are unencyclopaedic, are non-neutral and are self-proclaimed original research. I appreciate that this is a newish article and that it is still undergoing work, however these problems have been raised with the main editor by Pharmboy and others both as talk page messages and via tagging the article and I see no improvement so I am now going to remove the worst. nancy (talk) 12:24, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It will take a while. I have several other projects going and have researched this article somewhat, but it will take time before I can get it kosher, I fear. I agree that the above needed trimming, and while I am trying to treat gently, likely other content will need to be trimmed back a little. Pharmboy (talk) 17:53, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Quite! - yes, this one definitely needs a softly-softly approach. nancy (talk) 19:05, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
