Owner of belle grove[edit]

The first owner was John Andrews ..He sold it to Henry Ware who was the father of James and John Ware ... After a time , he gave it to his two sons ...I know this to be a fact because my mother is the granddaughter of John Ware ... We know our family history and others in the immediate family can confer what I am stating to be a fact ...At the end of the Civil War there was a million dollar cotton claim . Belle grove[edit]

Owners - John Andrew , Henry Ware, James and John Ware, James Ware, and the last owner who left around 1920 after several years of crop failures was Stone Ware , the son of James Ware ..He went to New Orleans and Stone Street named for him . M'Lou Castillo (talk) 14:20, 3 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
