Contested deletion[edit]

Dear every editor that sees this article, If you have something to edit this article please help me to edit it. Thank you. --Kanmel12 (talk) , 23 April 2021 (UTC)

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because this woman is a well-known tutor in Thailand and her tutoring school is famous among Thai student. --Kanmel12 (talk) 14:47, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Kanmel12, please provide at least 2 newspaper coverages or other reliable sources that talk about her. Ignore sources that just mention her name because she, for example, is invited as a guest at a seminar. Wikipedia needs sources and can't include a stand alone biography of living person without valid sources. Looks like she might be famous in Thailand, but being famous alone is not the criteria for being included here. Dial911 (talk) 15:16, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Dial911 I will try my best but sources that I put them into references are talking about her profile since the beginning of her education until her careeers and they were provided by the most reliable medias of Thailand. --Kanmel12 (talk) , 23 April 2021 (UTC)
@Kanmel12, out of the 4 references, 2 are from the same university she graduated from. These 2 sources would not be considered secondary. The rest 2 are not convincing enough. The subject is not yet notable to be included here. However, let an administrator see if this subject still falls under A7 as it did two times before. Dial911 (talk) 16:21, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Dial911 Should I remove these 2 references? Kanmel12 (talk 23 April 2021
@Kanmel12, The tagged criteria for this CSD is A7, meaning this person is not yet significant enough to be included in the encyclopedia. This article should be deleted from Wikipedia as per my understanding. However, an administrator will look into this shortly, and they would make the call. But as I said, her notability is not proved, she can't inherit it because she founded something that has Wikipedia article, she can't be included just because students in Thailand know her. We need sources, like newspapers, news channel coverages, books, peer reviewed magazines etc. It is okay if it gets removed, you are welcome to try again once she has got more sources that talk about her. See WP:TOOSOON for details. Dial911 (talk) 16:30, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@[User:Dial911|Dial911]] Thank you for your explanation, I will try again if I have enough sources about her. Kanmel12 (talk 23 April 2021 — Preceding undated comment added 16:35, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Dial911, you asked for two pieces of newspaper coverage. That's what Post Today and Manager are. While the in-depthness and originality of the pieces, which are based on interviews, may be debatable, the inclusion of such sources go beyond the "credible claim of significance" required by A7. In this case, though, I agree with Discospinster's redirection, since the founder is closely associated with the school, which is her main source of notability, and can be adequately covered in the that article. --Paul_012 (talk) 22:57, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
