Ramhormoz County (Persian: شهرستان رامهرمز)[a] is in Khuzestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Ramhormoz.[3]
Demographics[edit]
Population[edit]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the county's population was 120,194 in 25.359 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 105,418 people in 25,313 households, by which time Haftkel District had been separated from the county in the establishment of Haftkel County,[5] by which time Haftkel District had been separated from the county in the establishment of Haftkel County.[6] At the 2016 census, Ramhormoz County's population was 113,776 in 30,591 households.[2]
After the census, the villages of Bavaj,[7] Rud Zard-e Mashin,[8] and Soltanabad were elevated to city status.[7]
