Rainbow-collar worker is a reflection of lesbian and gay workers' tendency to avoid same-gender-dominated occupations that makes them different from the straight population.[1] It is a group that is understudied in terms of Occupational segregation, Workplace democracy, and workplace wellness.[citation needed]
