Honey Merrill (born Honey Maeblanche Merrill; September 2, 1934 – July 29, 2016) was an American model who achieved prominence as the long-time mistress and secretary of comedian Jackie Gleason.[1] She began her career modeling in magazines like Gala and Frolic before appearing in various television series.[2] On April 4, 1957, she made her debut at The Tropicana Hotel as one of several showgirls performing onstage with Eddie Fisher.[3] Her affair with Gleason ended in 1969 after she married singer Dick Roman.[4][5] The couple had a daughter named Miel, who later became an actress.[6]
