Fareghan Rural District (Persian: دهستان فارغان) is in Fareghan District of Hajjiabad County, Hormozgan province, Iran. It is administered from the city of Fareghan.[3]

Demographics[edit]

Population[edit]

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 3,159 in 829 households.[4] There were 2,729 inhabitants in 860 households at the following census of 2011.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 2,492 in 864 households. The most populous of its 14 villages was Shahrud, with 408 people.[2]
