Advocate Vijay Kalandar is a well-known lawyer of Rajasthan High Court. He was born on 1 January 1990. He started his career with journalism. He worked with many prestigious media groups of Rajasthan including Mahanagar Times and First India. But later due to his interest in social work, he joined the profession of advocacy. Advocate Vijay Kalandar is the founder of the non-governmental organization “Seerat Foundation”. He also runs the “Qalandar Justice” campaign for the victims of the regime. Vijay Kalandar is also the editor of a weekly newspaper named 'The Kalandar Post'.

Came into limelight by filing complaint against Rahul Gandhi[edit]

While practicing law, Advocate Vijay Kalandar has always stood in the forefront to advocate the matters of interest of the country and society. In February 2024, he came into limelight by filing a complaint against Rahul Gandhi in a court in Jaipur. He had accused Rahul Gandhi of misleading the people of the country by telling him his wrong caste. He has demanded from the court to investigate the caste of Rahul Gandhi and take strictest action against him.[1]

Complaint was also lodged against Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary[edit]

Advocate Vijay Kalandar has also filed a complaint in the court against Congress leader in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Choudhary for making indecent remarks against President Draupadi Murmu. On which the court ordered the police to investigate and take action against Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary.[2]
