Ingrid Dineen-Wimberly is a scholar and author. She wrote The Allure of Blackness among Mixed-Race Americans, 1862-1916 that was published in 2019.

Retired professor of history at University of La Verne's Point Mugu program. She coedited Shape Shifters: Journeys across Terrains of Race and Identity
