County Grammar School is an all-boys, private, Rivers State Governemnt Owned secondary school in Ikwerre/Etche, Ikwerre/Etche, Rivers State. Founded in February 1956, County Grammar School is located within the Public Schools owned by the Rivers State Government. The school is governed by the Rivers State Ministry of Education which consists of the, secretary and principal. Former students have formed an association known as the Old Boys Association of County Grammar School.[1]

Admission[edit]

The school's admission period spans between January and May in which three consecutive exams are conducted. Forms can be obtained through the school authority or the Rivers State Ministry of Education Podium block, Port Harcourt. Only male students for JSS1, 2 & 3 as well as SSS1, 2 & 3 classes are admitted. JSS1 applicants must have schooled up to Basic 5 and have written their First School Leaving Certificate Examination.[2]
