Recording[edit]
The song was recorded in Los Angeles, but it is unknown where it was recorded.[2] The recording of the song was the first proper recording session Lennon attended since he recorded Fame with David Bowie.[3] The recording of the song was also the last time Lennon would collaborate with Starr.[4]
