Anooja was born in Punalur, Kerala, India. She graduated with Honours in Civil Engineering from Mar Ignatius College of Engineering in Kothamangalam, Ernakulam, India and she received her master's from her Alma Mater, Cochin University (CUSAT). She also did her brand management from IIM Bangalore and Strategic Marketing from Wharton. She also got an Executive Fellowship from Woxsen University for entrepreneurship.
Career[edit]
She started her career as a Civil engineer in System Constrict, Dubai. Further, she worked in consultancies like Design Center and other firms in UAE as an estimation engineer. She moved back to India for her kid's education and later on, pursued her career as an Assistant professor in TOCH College of Engineering and Illahi College of Engineering. She accidentally stepped into entrepreneurship in 2013 where she endured her first startup failure. She then pursued as Head of Sales & Marketing with a few realtors based in Kerala and eventually returned as an entrepreneur in 2017 unfortunately, she again went through a setback in 2018 but with her grit, determination, and dedication, she bought her venture Ourea back to success by pivoting it into a branding company from a marketing agency with her co-founder - Vinod Chacko. Anooja then started FlexiCLoud with Viond, who was an expert in the cloud industry in the year 2020. With her CFO Binu Mathew, she and Vinod started Pokket CO which is a Fintech company.
