coverage[edit]

The category now includes four players for the Keystones in the NABBP (all major leaguers): Bechtel 1868-69, Cuthbert 1865-66, Fulmer 1869, Malone 1865.

A few other major leaguers played for the Keystones during the 1865–1869 seasons "rostered" by Marshall Wright (pp 105, 125, 146, 216, 253).

1867 - John McMullin
1868 - Dickie Flowers, Bob Reach
1869 (pro) - Flowers, John Radcliff

Evidently this club did not retain its best players. The Athletics were always the strongest team in Philadelphia but many of the Keystones moved to outside teams too. --P64 (talk) 21:34, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
