Who braids rivers?[edit]

I'm still boggling at categories for braided rivers, but figured I'd check a couple instances. First one I checked was Ziller (river). Umm, *where* is it 'braided'? I poked around with google maps and at best there's a 10-20 meter stretch that might be called 'braided' if someone had never seen an actual braided river (like the New Zealand pictures). Check a satellite map for 47.156750, 11.871579.

Who says this is a braided river? Shenme (talk) 04:11, 23 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I may have added Ziller to the category by mistake. Theoretically if there is a small stretch braided, it is a braided river, but practically probably not. I actually wanted to create a category for rivers that carry gravel in their basin (which Ziller is) but no such term exists so I probably added Ziller to this category considering it to be the most related one. --Kozuch (talk) 08:16, 23 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
