Architecture Summit schedule published

The proposed schedule for the MediaWiki Architecture Summit (see previous Signpost coverage) has been published. The two main plenary sessions will be about HTML templating, and Service-oriented architecture.

  • MP4 Video: RfC on whether to enable support for uploading/using/providing video in the MP4 format.
  • The orange "You have new messages" bar will now be displayed for users who have JavaScript disabled (bugzilla:56974)
  • Updates to special pages: Special:DoubleRedirects, Special:UncategorizedPages, Special:WantedCategories, and other cached special pages should have fresh results and will update once a month. (bugzilla:15434)
  • Search issues: New pages and changes were not being reflected in search results from January 6 to 14. (bugzilla:59979)
  • Wikidata support for Wikisource: Language links for Wikisource can now be added via Wikidata. (announcement)
