As the chairman of the [http://www.cesd.az, Centre for Economic and Social Development, CESD], leading economic think tank in [[Azerbaijan]], Dr Bayramov has conducted various research projects on both macro and micro economics in the areas of local government, municipality development, state budget transparency, etc. His most recent papers were published in [[Japan]]] (SPF Press), the [[Republic of South Africa]] (“Open Space” Journal) and the [[United Kingdom]] (University of Brighton Press) last year. He is the author of “Oil Revenues Usage Strategy in Azerbaijan”. Dr Bayramov is also a lecturer at [[Azerbaijan State Economic University]], where he teaches economics and finance courses.

== Biography==

Vugar Bayramov was born in 1975, June, 13, in Azerbaijan. He got his first university degree in [[Baku]] in [[Azerbaijan]] in [[1997]]. His parents were educators at secondary school. Vugar Bayramov graduated from [[Azerbaijan State Economic University]] in 1997 and then [[Washington University]] in 2004.

Vugar Bayramov is the author of [http://www.cesd.az/crisis.pdf, Anti-Crisis Concept of Azerbaijan Republic] where stated policy recommendations adapted by the government. As one of leading economic-experts in the region, Vugar Bayramov has been several times involved in developing state programs including anti-crisis programs by [[CIS]] Countries Governments.

Vugar Bayramov's papers have been published in several leading journals and newspapers in the world. He is very often invited to serve as speaker in very prestige global conferences. Many leading mass-media institutes including [[BBC]], Izvestiya, Times, [[Voice of America]] and others referenced Dr. Bayramov's comments and feedbacks on regional economic issues. Vugar Bayramov has been awarded with several medals by different countries governments. He was the frist from Azerbaijan invited to attend [[WTO]] 6th Ministerial Conference in [[Hong-Kong]] in [[2005]].

His articles have been published in 14 different languages. He is author of more than 40 books published in English, Russian, French and other languages.
