Summary[edit]

This 'new' sign, with the image of a Lene Lenape Native American "Indian King" raised en cameo, is a 1996 replica of the way tavern signs were made in the 18th c. Its side, wrought-iron straps were hand-forged by the State's Supervisor of Historic Sites, Paul Taylor, at the Allaire Village Blacksmith Shop.
