DescriptionEntrance to Portland Kinokuniya bookstore, in former Guild Theatre building (2019).jpg
English: The restored marquee of the former Guild Theatre, at 829 SW 9th Avenue in downtown Portland, Oregon, now marking the entrance to the Portland branch of Kinokuniya Books. The theater was completed and opened in 1927 and closed in 2006. After sitting vacant for several years, the building was converted in 2018–2019 for retail use (and its marquee had been restored in 2017), and the bookstore opened there in August 2019.
